Denver airport

Denver airport is really huge.  My flight was boarded on time but they made us wait in the tunnel leading to the airplane for a while.  Then, we were asked to go back to the waiting area at the gate, as there were electrical issues.

A few minutes later we boarded again.  Everyone was settled in when they informed us that the washrooms on the right side of the plane weren't working.  The captain continued to explain that sometimes the system doesn't work properly when people flush things down the toilet that they shouldn't, such as golf balls.  No joke.  That is what he said.  A few minutes later a bunch of maintenance people came on board.  The captain made another announcement asking that passengers not use the washrooms on the right side of the plane.  An hour or so later we were asked to deplane.

Our scheduled departure was 12:30pm, but the screen now indicated a departure of 3:30pm.  We boarded at around 3:00, but then had to wait for the poor soul(s) who didn't wait by the gate and assumed we would truly depart at 3:30, not earlier.

Then, the weather took a turn.  It was too windy and rainy to take off.  We lost our window, but gained it back again 1. 5 hours later.  In the end, we took off at 4:30pm.

I unfortunately had a middle seat, but the 12 hour flight didn't seem that long.

I leave you with these images from Denver airport:
